Why a salon moves at all
The reasons differ from shop to shop. One wants a page in Arabic, in riyals, with Saudi invoicing. One wants a link in its own name without a marketplace showing others beside it. One wants a flat price that does not grow with the number of bookings.
How to choose a system has its own page on the site: how to choose a booking system in Saudi Arabia. This article is about the step after the decision: the move itself.
What we set up from your current page
On the first step of sign-up there is a field that asks whether you already have a page somewhere. Paste the link of your current page and the system reads it the way a visitor would: the shop’s name and description, the list of services with prices, durations and sections, the cover photo, the opening hours, and the team’s names and photos if they are shown.
All of it fills the sign-up steps themselves, and nothing is saved without you passing over it. You see the services with their Arabic and English names, remove the ones you no longer offer, change a price that moved, and carry on.
If the page does not have everything, or is in one language only, the system completes what it can and tells you what it could not read instead of guessing. You can then photograph the price list on your wall and upload the picture, and the services are read from it.

- services with prices, durations and sections
- cover and photos
- opening hours
- the team
What does not come in, and why
Your client list and past bookings do not come in, because they are not on your public page, and we never ask for your login to another system. A client is recorded with you at her first booking, by name and number, and from then on she is in your customer list.
Your reviews on the old system stay there. Reviews in WGTK start from your new visits: after every paid or completed visit the customer receives a review link, and your average shows on your page.
And the logo: we only take a logo the page declares as yours, because most pages show the platform’s own. You upload it yourself in the same step.
After the move: three steps so clients find you
The new link in your salon’s name is ready. Put it in your Instagram and Snapchat bio, in your WhatsApp Business greeting, and in the booking button on Google Maps.
Then one message to your clients: “we now book here”, with the link. Whoever books once from the new link does not ask again.
If you decide to close your old page, do it two weeks after the new one is running, not before, so that anyone who booked an upcoming appointment there still reaches you.
- the link in your bio, WhatsApp and Google
- one message to your clients
- close the old page two weeks later
If you have no old page
The same field takes the link of your website, your Google Maps listing, or any page that lists your services. A photo of your price list is enough if you have no page at all.
And if none of that works, manual sign-up takes no more than a quarter of an hour for a mid-sized salon, and the steps lay it out for you.
In short
Moving is not rebuilding. Your old page holds most of what you need, the system reads it and fills your steps, and you review and edit. What is left for you is telling your clients the new link, and that is one message.
Quick questions
No. We read your public page only, like any visitor, and we never ask for login details to any other system.
Edit it under Services in your panel like any other service. The import happens once at sign-up, and after that your WGTK page is the reference.
Yes. In the same step you upload a photo or a PDF of the price list, the services are read from it with their prices, and you review them before saving.
